We currently run Lucee version 7 (as of March 2026). Our shared hosting environment runs a single Lucee version across the server, and we keep it updated as new stable releases come out.

Our Lucee hosting runs the Lucee CFML engine, not Adobe ColdFusion. Most CFML code runs on both engines with little or no modification. If you’re not sure whether your application is compatible, get in touch and we can help you figure it out.

Everything you need to configure can be handled directly within the Application.cfc file. This approach keeps each site’s configuration and data isolated, providing better security and ensuring that settings are managed on a per-application basis.

All Lucee plans include MariaDB databases. If you need a different database engine, contact us to discuss your requirements.

Yes, we include backups as part of all our hosting plans to ensure your data is safe and recoverable. We make backups nightly and retain 14 daily and 6 weekly backups, providing multiple restore points to help safeguard your site.

While we strive to maintain reliable backups, we cannot guarantee that all backups will be free from errors. Therefore, it is ultimately the client’s responsibility to maintain their own backups for added protection.

Backups are an important feature for quickly restoring your site in case of accidental errors, technical issues, or if your website has been hacked.
